"I am a redhead and I purchased Twig for day and the clear for bed time. It was great in the winter; no chapped lips. My lips were conditioned in the day and night. Twig is a deep color saturated neutral, perfect for a redhead or light skinned brunette. It makes your teeth look reallly white. I like it best for going out for dinner; not really a day color for my skin tone. I am going to buy 2 more colors for daytime. Hopefully Beige Shimmer and Cocoa will be good daytime colors for me. I love the "PLUMP". I'll let everyone know how these colors work out."

"Just got this lipstick in Chili, and it's great! I have warm toned, freckled skin, so finding the correct shade of red is mission impossible! Received lots of compliments the 1st day I wore it. I was able to apply without the aid of lip liner...always a plus! This formula conceals your lip texture for a smoother appearance without being too thick & heavy...ideal for reds & darker shades.
Ooh! Also, I LOVE the version w/no color...the Lip Conditioner. It RULES! I'm on my 2nd tube! Such a great base for lip color and even better on it's own.
And you gotta love the SPF 15 sunscreen!
Overall, this lipstick is practical and glamorous....a great combo!"

"The best part of this lipstick is that it has SPF 15. The second best reason is that it doesn't have any taste. I hate lipsticks that have a fragrance, and this one does not. It goes on smooth and it's hard to put too much on, so can be applied without looking into a mirror."

My New Favorite Lipstick

"I love this lipstick. When I bought my first tube, though, I didn't like it. It felt thick and a bit too creamy. However, I blotted it lightly and voila! I fell in love with it. It feels nice, makes my lips look smooth and plump (doesn't feather), and it comes in beautiful colors.
Others have mentioned problems with the texture, or say that the color doesn't last. I've noticed that blotting lightly not only takes care of the texture issue, but the color lasts a lot longer. I have no complaints with the staying power. (If you purchase it, be aware that Beyond Color is kind of soft, so be careful not to twist it up too high. The lighter colors seem softer than the more highly pigmented ones.) My first tube was "cantaloupe," which is a very pretty peach color, not too orange, not too pink. I have graying auburn hair, and "cantaloupe" has become my every-day lip color; it really brightens up my face. I also purchased a tube in "twig," which was a bit darker than I expected, but looks beautiful for when I dress up. Since my first 2 tubes, I have also purchased "uptown pink," a little bit anxiously (I usually don't look good in pink lipstick), and "terracotta." I was pleasantly surprised that "uptown pink" is a saturated medium-dark pink, not too purple, not too brown--a very pretty color that looks nice with any color clothing. "Terracotta" is a lovely reddish-brownish pink; I thought it would be more like a clay pot color, but I'm not complaining! It's very pretty. I love Beyond Color. Next I'm going to get Beige Shimmer and the clear lip conditioner."

"I have purchased four tubes of this lipstick. While the color is awesome, the product is not. The lipstick in every tube has cracked in the middle and the lipstick becomes very mushy and soft. It's a huge mess and when you apply it you have to be very careful and not use too much pressure or it will come apart. The price is great, but because it's so soft it's gone in a little over 2 weeks. Not worth the mess it makes."

"I have been using Twig and clear for a few years and finally just bought all of the other colors. This lipstick gives all day color and great moisture, plus all of the colors make your teeth look whiter! And...
Sensitivity: Beyond color has not caused any problems for my ultra sensitive skin and lips. Lip gloss makes my lips itch and I developed an allergy to UCR (which made my mouth swell).
Plumping: This lipstick has a long lasting plumping effect, which is what I want for my aging lips. It doesn't give immediate plumping at all. The long term plumping is caused by tiny white dots inside the lip, like milia. With continued use (months and years), the dots connect into a plumped light colored area on the inner lip. As the plumped area expands towards the lip line, the skin near the lip starts to redden, like a lip liner. I have used this lipstick about once a day for the last few years and the thinning of my aging lips has been completely reversed!
Perfect No-Glitter Neutrals for daily wear: Twig (a must try!), Cocoa (warmer than Twig and my new fav), Sienna (redder than Twig, the only red I've tried that looks good with my medium/deep skin tone)
Sheerer Colors (all very nice): Beige Shimmer (nude), Mad for Mauve (pinkish lavender nude), Cantaloupe (unbelievable, I can actually wear this color!)
Stronger Pigmented Colors (too much for me on their own, so I layer a neutral or sheer on top): Uptown Pink, Divine Wine, Terracotta, Chocolate Frosting
Sheerer Colors (all very nice): Beige Shimmer (nude), Mad for Mauve (pinkish lavender nude), Cantaloupe (unbelievable, I can actually wear this color!)
