"I am a redhead and I purchased Twig for day and the clear for bed time. It was great in the winter; no chapped lips. My lips were conditioned in the day and night. Twig is a deep color saturated neutral, perfect for a redhead or light skinned brunette. It makes your teeth look reallly white. I like it best for going out for dinner; not really a day color for my skin tone. I am going to buy 2 more colors for daytime. Hopefully Beige Shimmer and Cocoa will be good daytime colors for me. I love the "PLUMP". I'll let everyone know how these colors work out."

"Just got this lipstick in Chili, and it's great! I have warm toned, freckled skin, so finding the correct shade of red is mission impossible! Received lots of compliments the 1st day I wore it. I was able to apply without the aid of lip liner...always a plus! This formula conceals your lip texture for a smoother appearance without being too thick & heavy...ideal for reds & darker shades.
Ooh! Also, I LOVE the version w/no color...the Lip Conditioner. It RULES! I'm on my 2nd tube! Such a great base for lip color and even better on it's own.
And you gotta love the SPF 15 sunscreen!
Overall, this lipstick is practical and glamorous....a great combo!"

"I prefer colors with a little sparkle in them. Not one of the five colors I ordered have any kind of dimension or shine to them. Adding gloss makes it look clownish - terrible consistency for adding gloss, it changes and looks like you used cheap paint on your lips.
If you love matte looking lips, this is for you."

"I like the lipsticks alot, and I love the lip conditioner, but the colors are a little off. I ordered it in Twig and Divine Wine, and both have worked on me, but did not match the color swatches on-line or in the catalogues. The Twig was not as nuetral as I expected, a little more rose tone to it, which turned out to be a nice surprise for me, and the Divine Wine was more of a dark pink than a wine, which I didn't like as well, but did still look nice. I've been nervous about trying any other colors for this reason, but I will probably give it a shot during a sale at some point, I wouldn't risk it at full price, even though Avaon products are usually more than worth the cost. The lip conditioer is one of the best things I've ever used. It's so much better than any other moisturizer or lip balm that I've ever tried. I use it under all of my other lip colors, and it works so nice with the Glimmersticks and Color Trend Mini lip liners. My lips feel good, smooth, soft and moist, without feeling like I have something heavy and greasy on them. I haven't really noticed much in the way or plumping with this product, but maybe the good feel is the plumping for me and I just don't see the difference as much as feel it."

"I am a red head and got this in Twig, Terracotta, Sienna and Sugar Cane. The only color I didn't care for was Sugar Cane. It was too frosty and white looking like something from the 60's. The Terracotta was a bit too bright of a red but was great for going out at night in. I love that it has spf 15 and that my lips don't get dry and chapped. I do wish it had staying power but most lipsticks don't and if that means I have to give up moisture for staying power, I'll stay with moisture!"

"I love this lip stick. I got this in the beige shimmer and sugar cane. I love beige shimmer but sugar cane is better if you put on top of another color. It gives your lips a great shine. Love both. I 'm buying another beige shimmer cause my husband will never kiss me with lipstick on, but he kisses me with beige shimmer cause he just cant help him self. Cause the beige shimmer is so pretty. Im ordering me some more of the brown tones,like coco, and choclate. Those are my next to try."

"I am an Avon rep and have tried every lipstick in Avon's arsenal.
I fell in love with the cantelope and peach...cantelope is my favorite. I'm a brunette with medium skin slightly pinkish so I do better with warm tones (peach/corals). I love the full coverage. When I want something light I use smooth minerals lipstick which is also a great but it doesn't last long. I haven't found any lipsticks that can last through drinking and eating."

"I bought the Chocolate Frosting and wow!! it was super dark. I guess if you like that look then this is perfect for you....but it's just too dark and rich for me. I had to mix Twig and dab a little Chocolate Frosting to get my ideal color. Maybe if I'm going for the "dramatic look" but too dark for the office. Went on smoothly though."

"I LOVE this lipstick. I am also a redhead, the twig was a bit bland for me, but Sienna is wonderful for day or night I suggest the previous redhead try that color!.Now that it's on sale I'm going to buy a bunch to make sure I have plenty in the event a color is discontinued. This is really one of the best lipsticks in any price range. I only wish it was a bit longer lasting, but then maybe it could not be as moisturizing."

"I bought this product in beigh (which is wonderful for pretty much any skin tone!) and Uptown pink. I'm extremely fair skin, with green eyes and I have to apply it, and then use some teepee to tone it done just a tad. If I had a little darker skin I wouldn't have to do anything. Oh well! Feels fantastic on my lips, I know it's there but it's not sticky or too heavy! 2 thumbs up."

"I purchased this lipstick in Divine Wine. It made my lips very soft and smooth, however, this color did not work well with my skin tone. It almost looks like a hot pink/fuscia tone (straight out of the 80's). I ended up giving this lipstick to my mother who is a few shades lighter than me and it looks fabulous on her! I will have to buy a different shade for myself."
