"I have read alot of reviews in regards to the Avon foundations. Many of the reviews are concerning the foundation colors and how they are not accurate or true to the colors in the brochures. I have tried the Smooth Minerals foundation and have gotten the same result: a foundation that was too dark, too red and too orange. Women have trusted Avon for years and why not? Avon has delivered superior products at reasonable prices for years and Avon has given people the opportunity to generate a good income,by becoming representatives. With all of this going for it, why can't this company,which is on the forefront of superior skin-care technology,develop foundation colors that accurately represent the colors in the brochures?

"I have to admit, I thought the Avon folks were off their rockers when I opened this compact for the first time. The "Ivory" color looked so dark! No way that was going to match my fair skin.
Happily, what looked more medium-toned in the compact goes on my skin as a beautiful match for my natural color!!! I've tried cream-to-powder compact foundations before and been disappointed; BEYOND COLOR is a far superior product. It has enough color to even out my skin tone and downplays my freckles, while still being translucent enough to give me the natural look I prefer. It looks just like me, only better!
There isn't even any noticable odor, which is a problem I've had with other compact foundations. I'm very pleased, and will definitely buy this again."

"This product offers full, non-caking, long lasting coverage. Its no-mess application makes it a great choice on the go. Gives a nice matte appearance without accenting wringles and laugh lines. Removes easy, with no oily residue. I use this with Anew concealer stick and it makes my skin look radiant. Highly recommended!"

"This is the best cream-to-powder foundation I have ever used! I have oily skin, and this product controls the oil all day long. I apply it in the morning and that is it. I may touch up with powder in the evening, but I don't even need to throughout the day. It covers very well. I have been using this foundation for a while, and decided to try the Ideal Color line because of the good reviews, but was very disappointed in the smell of that one, so I am definitely back to using Beyond Color for good! I hope Avon NEVER discontinues this product!!!!"

"My skin is light/pale, I purchased this compact foundation because I saw the rating on this product, I bought the color Cream (884-894) because I have a yellow tone in my skin. When I got it I was so excited and put it on right away, well to my disappointment, it did not cover the imperfections on my skin and the color was way too dark/yellow for my skin."

"This makeup is absolutely GREAT. It feels light and covers wonderfully. I am 61 years old and very very picky about my foundation. I like a natural, even look. I have some dark spots and this is perfect coverage. It never appears like I am covering up a dark area. The color does not change throughout the day. Even my daughter commented on how good my makeup looked. You need to give this makeup at least one try. I buy extra when it comes on sale."

"After passing 40, I needed a different , softer foundation. This one was not the first I tried, but it was the last.
It goes on smoothly, feels clean and moist, yet it looks natural and has great coverage.
I think I have purchased at least 6or 7 of these.
Easy and clean to apply with the sponge.
Covers dark circles under the eyes like a concealer.
Everyone thinks I have a "healthy glow"."

"This foundation is definitely FIVE STARS! This is the first compact foundation I have tried that truly gives a smooth finish like liquid foundation. The color selection was wonderful and I actually found the perfect match which is usually a challenge. This makeup also smells really nice and covers freckles nicely. The price and quality are an unbeatable combination. Highly recommend."

"I tried it because it was on sale, and I've tries so many different foundations lately, that I'd probably spent over $100 on product that I've thrown away because I either broke out, dried out, or didn't like the feel of the make up. Well that is giong to change, because this is perfect for me. It even's my skin tone out, and once it's on I forget i'm even wearing it.
I use to only wear foundation when I had to, now I wear it almost daily because it makes me look good.
