"I am a product of the "over-plucking" era, and have practically no eyebrows left. I have been using this product for years and it's great for creating brows where there isn't any hair and also for filling in the gaps where there are a few stragglers. I'm a redhead and finding a color has always been difficult, however the Tawny is the perfect shade for me. The only negative thing I can say about this product is that the product description says it's "self-sharpening" - how? Mine have never "self-sharpened"."

"I don't have eyebrows. After yeas of Trich, I have been left without a single hair. This brow pencil is the best I have used and have stayed with it for years. It doesn't smudge or wear off during the day, as long as I keep my hands off it. It does come off swimming. I use the dark brown as my hair is the same color. I don't hide from camera's anymore."

"I've used many brow liners over the years and I have to say that this is one of the best. I purchased the tawny shade and it matched my strawberry blonde hair perfectly. I use a brow brush & then fill in where needed. It goes on smooth & looks very natural. It blends in beautifully & doesn't give my brows that "drawn in" look. This is definitely a keeper."

"If you like a thicker pen and a softer formula than this is for you. Some are saying to buy the blonde because its so dark. Well the brown is the perfect brown for me and my friends. The blonde is way too light so go ahead and buy the brown if you like brown to match your hair or to give pop."

"My daughter wanted to start filling in her eyebrows, but being that she was only 15 I didn't want her to go out and buy some cheap brand of brow color with her allowance because I knew she'd buy one of those inexpensive brands out there and not get the correct color for herself. So I told her I'd buy her some. I bought her the Tawny color. It matches absolutely perfect to her coloring. One thing I love about AVON is that the colors are true-to-life in the catalogs, so all I had to was hold the brochure up to my daughters face. Now SHE'S an AVON fan too!"

"I purchased the Dark Brown and the Tawny for what thin brows I have. My hair is medium brown with red highlights and my brows are dark to medium. I blend the two colors together and it is a perfect match. I put this on this morning and the color stays in place and doesn't rub off with my bangs. I have tried other pencils and powders and this is the best brow product I have ever used. My brows are barely there and this looks very natural. Give it a try ladies and you won't be sorry."

"This is the best brow product ever made. Due to over plucking when younger, I have absolutely no brows. Glimmersticks has staying power and the perfect shade of blonde. "Blonde brow pencils are so hard to find. So many are too dark or too taupe-y which makes them look gray. This one is just the right shade,is easy to control, and the automatic feature prevents product loss from sharpening. I hope Avon NEVER stops selling this pencil"

"I read all of the reviews on this product before choosing a color and everyone said they were darker than they appeared on the website. So I ordered the blonde. ( I have naturally brown hair with blonde highlights and brown eyebrows.) It was too light and made my eyebrows look unnatural, I am returning it for the dark brown, hopefully that one will match better."

"This pencil is great! Applies easily and doesn't smudge. Lasts for hours. Washes off completely, too. I took a tip from another post and ordered a pencil that was lighter than my brow color. The "Blonde" is the perfect color even though my natural brow color is med-brown. I'm in the light-med makeup range, so that's probably why it works with my skin tone."

"This is the worst brow "definer" I have ever used. It doesn't look natural at all, no matter how much you try to blend and shade it, and speaking of which, it doesn't blend very well either, even if you're using an eyebrow brush. The color I purchased is the closest color they had to my eyebrows, and it isn't even close. I dislike this product completely. I will stick to my dry, powder eyebrow filler that comes with a wax and eyebrow brush... now that stuff blends well."
