"I have a very fair complexion, dark brown hair and blue eyes; the shimmer mauve color is the PERFECT natural lip tone enhancer with a touch of fresh pink (no awful orangish hue and not dark). Most lip liner looks harsh and makes my thin-medium lips appear smaller, but this shade under any gloss or lipstick amazingly makes them look FULLER! Application is very smooth and blendable on moisturized lips, although nearly any liner will tug on bone dry lips. I LOVE THIS!!"

"I purchased 3 colors. (1) Shimmer Mauve - Not true to name or website color. This is a tan color, NOT mauve. This is why I didn't give the 5 star rating. I was very disappointed that it came out tan, with a shy hint of pink. Mauve is supposed to be rosy, with a hint of purple. This color should have been named with the word tan in it. (2) Rosebud - Nice color. Neutral pink color. (3) Wildberry - Deep and bright fuchsia color."

"I bought these in the "Bonus Size" in all of the colors. With these liners you can try every lip makeup trend without hurting your wallet.
The Neutral color is great for the 1960s "nude lip" look. Shimmer Mauve is my favorite color. It goes well with any makeup palette I wear.
These pencils are excellent either alone with lip balm for a soft, natural look ; under gloss or over matching lipcolor for a more polished look."

"Once you get a more rounded point, this product works pretty well. I definitely needed my stock make-up case cigarette lighter from time to time, though. Sometimes when it's too stiff, I run it through a flame a couple times to warm it up a bit. It helps keep it from pulling and giving me more wrinkles near my lips. I REALLY love the colours, too. From the nude tones, to the deep, rich ones. You can make them match just about anything you want! Even better is that the colour lasts a LONG time."

"If you're looking for a simple, basic lip liner that's not too pricey, this definitely beats the usual drugstore brands. It really stays well under lipstick and doesn't tug at the lips.
I got this lip liner in neutral for me, and although it worked fine, beware that it has an orange undertone which may not flatter other complexions.
However, if you don't mind dropping a few more dollars, I recommend Avon's Glimmersticks lip liner over this because it's even smoother and richer application."

"I have been trying to find the perfect lip liner for YEARS. I have found it! They are either too dark, too runny, too dry, too moist, too light...but this one has the exact right amount of color to complement and blend with my lipstick or wear with just gloss, it does not come off and it goes on like a dream. This lip liner had it all. I hope they come out with more colors but for now I am using the neutral color."

"I purchased a couple of these for my mother and I. She loves the chocolate color and has been using it for as long as I can remember! I ordered the colors Neutral and Rosebud for myself, because I don't like my lip liners to be too dark due to the fact that I don't wear darker shades of lipstick. However, the lip liner works very well for us. It lasts for hours and stays put! Stock up when these are on sale! You won't regret it!! ;)"
