"These are very high quality, natural looking shadow sets. I have all 4 (they don't have the violet anymore) but my favorite is the Ice Shimmer. It's the most natural looking with my fair skin and dark hair. The Antique Bronze trio would look great on women with darker skin, the Pebble Wash would be good for fair or olive skin.
What I love about these is that there are so many ways to wear them. You can wear just one or two of the colors for more subtelty. You can use the darkest color to highlight your crease or use it as your eyeliner. You can use the cream as eyeshadow, or as a base for the other colors.
And even if you're terrible at applying makeup you can't mess up with these. The colors blend together so well, it's utterly mistake-proof!"

"I bought the Pebble Wash Trio and I LOVE it. It's nice and neutral and goes with just about everything I wear. I don't mind the brush (it works for me, maybe not some other people) and both the cream base and the shadows go on great and stay on, even when I go to swim practice. I rarely have to touch it up during the day. I would definitely recommend this product to anybody and will certainly be purchasing more."

"I really like using the cream base on its own. I apply all over the eyelid area then use the darker color as an eye liner. The combination is really nice. I don't use the applicator for the cream--I use my fingertip, but I prefer to do it that way. I would suggest everyone investing in professional-style eye shadow applicators instead of using the applicators that come with any eye shadow cases."

"The light, creamy color makes a good primer/base layer for me, and then I apply shadow over it. The medium color is a goldy-brown with a matte finish. I like the mini-brush for applying shadow just where I want it in the crease."

"There colors are PERFECT!!!! I wish I could just get replacements of the cream and the lighter shimmer color because I use them the most; but they have lasted over a year (and I "priss" and touch up my make up sometimes multiple times a day) so this actually has been a very great buy. I have purchased other brands in the past however either thier packaging hasnt held up this well or they have similar colors (not even as pretty) that cost twice as much. I hope Avon keeps this product and maybe even considers an option to buy just replacement colors in the future."

"I just received this compact a few weeks ago. I am happy this has a mirror on it!! I purchased the Antique Bronze. I was looking for a olive eyeshadow for a long time and this is a nice color. The base color was darker then I expect to use(usually I go for a light neutral color) but layered with the lighter color, they blend nicely. The brush is useless, as all the brushes that come with the eyeshadows are. You need to get good brushes. The cream shadow is hard to apply with any type of brush, therefore, I always use my fingertip to apply and blend."

"I've been looking for a new eyeshadow that actually wears at least 1/2 a day. This shadow is wonderful. It goes on very smooth because of the cream and the powder shadow adheres to it. This is a great product. It applies very nicely to the eye. Colors are very vibrant and distinct on the eye. I bought all three colors and just love all of them! The only issue is the applicator. The sponge tip is falling off already and the brush is a bit too hard, but I would recommend this product anyway. Hopefully Avon will work on improving the applicator. Otherwise no other improvements necessary!"
