"I purchased this product in bronze and when I tested it on my hand, it was a gorgeous color and seemed to go on smooth. However, when I tried it on my eyes, it tugged like crazy and it was really hard to get it to go on. If I have lots of time to get ready, I don't mind wearing this because I do like the color and it looks great when you are finally able to get it to show up. But it's rare I have much time to get ready so I prefer Avon's Glimmersticks eye liner, which goes on super smooth in one try."

"I could not get this liner to draw a line on my eyelid. I tried drawing a line on my hand to warm the product, but it was still barely visible when I tried to apply it to my lid. I went over the same section several times, and the only result was eye irritation. I bought this in bronze. I do like the smudger and use it with another liner."

"I bought it in dark brown; black looks a bit too dark since I have very dark eyes.
The color is so intense that you can apply it lightly use the smudger to soften and you’re good to go. It stays in place. I have dozens of eyeliners this one is the best that I have purchased."

"I purchased this product in dark brown and I really like it. I use it for my everyday make-up and it's not too dark or thick. It does go on very smooth. I did only give it 4 stars because if you have oily skin, this eyeliner is NOT for you. Also you need to invest in a nice pencil sharpener (which means spend more than $1) otherwise it will eat up your pencil, and sharpen with care, kohl eyeliner is softer than normal pencil liner. If you take good care of it, it is fabulous!"

"I actually bought this some time ago and forgot about it which proves what a "makup" junkie I really am. One day, experimenting with a "new look", I used this eyeliner. I noticed how smooth it went on and left me with that "smokey" look that actually looked soft and nice. (Hard to pull off on a "55 plus" lady!) I have since been getting complements on my eyemakeup since, which hasn't happened in years. I use it with Anew Gold Eyelifing eyeshadow - simple but pretty. Once again Avon scores a homerun with this product!"

"When I first put on this eyeliner I was in love, it went on so smoothly. Low and behold, a half hour later I paid for the smoothness, because the eyeliner smeared and smudged, even though I did not touch my eyes. I think the formula is so soft and smooth, it doesn't stay on so well. Also, as I tried to continue to use, I would sharpen, and the tips would continually break off, because, again, the softness of the kohl. I was a nice thought, but I had to throw away a brand new pencil, because I couldn't get it to stop breaking off when I tried sharpening. And even as I lined my eyes, it would break off. Maybe a new firmer formula would be better."
