"This was the 1st time I decided to use a brush with my foundation. What a difference! The brush is soft and really applies the makeup evenly. No mess either. I would recommend this brush to anyone who wants a nice blend on the chin / hairline. Your face does not look one color and the neck another. Great Brush."

"So glad that I took a chance and ordered this foundation brush! Having ALWAYS used a sponge to apply my liquid foundation, the thought of using a brush seemed very strange. Once I tried it I knew I could never go back to the sponge. The brush does a much better job of spreading the foundation evenly and gives a much more professional looking application. Must try for yourself.....know you will agree."

"This brush is great! It blends well and comes with a pouch to keep all the mess out of my make up bag! The handle Is perfect length! I've been using mine for about a year now! I always used my hands to blend to make it look smoother until I found this brush that makes my foundation smooth!"

I like it for contouring

"This is a nice brush, feels really good in the hand and it does a good job of applying foundation. However, I'm so used to using my fingers that I ended up using this brush for contouring. The shape works perfectly on the sides of the forehead and to highlight the cheekbones. It is a good quality brush and I would repurchse. I have also tried other Avon brushes and they have all been really good."

"I never knew you could apply liquid foundation with a brush; I have always used either a sponge or my fingers. Either way, with those two options, you have to wash your hands after, and it's a pain to get the color out from under your nails! This brush solves the problem. It spreads the foundation all over your face, and then you can blend it and get into all the little nooks and crannies. A perfect look every time, and no mess! You can wash the brush out once a week or so with no problem. A great solution to a pet peeve I USED to have!!!"

"This brush might be okay for a liquid or cream foundation with a soft, powdery finish, but it didn't work for me with a thicker, stickier liquid foundation (and no, it's NOT made for loose or pressed powders). The head is just a bit too long and quite a bit too soft. If I used a very light hand and a tiny bit of foundation at a time and applied it with the very tip of the brush, it did okay, but press any harder and use any more foundation, and I get goopy streaks. Everybody is different, but I prefer a stiffer, shorter brush."

"I bought this brush after getting my make up done for a wedding and getting advice from the make up artist. I found the coverage of my liquid makeup to be fantastic after using this brush. I also found that I used less makeup to cover my face and neck and it blended so beautifully. I loved this brush so much and it covered so well that I even bought one for my sister for Christmas!"

"People are so funny. I was readig the low reviews on this and thought that it was funny. Let me helpyou solve some of your problems. When usin this brush it is meant for applying liquid foundation. If you have some powders that you would like to use it with then I suggest you mix your powder foundation with water or your favorite moisturizer. If ou are using a powder and don't want to mix then I would suggest you get a powder brush. This is great fr applying cream blushes, liquid foundatin, cream foundation and liquid base highlighters. I love his brush and I personally know that from switching from a spongue to a brush will (on average) save one person 1.5 bottles of foundation a year. I know it doesn't seem like much but try to dump one out and imagine that. It helps you get into the fine lines and cover tiny pores that your fingers and a spongue get into. As a makeup artist this is THE ONLY BRUSH I USE when applying liquid foundation. For optimum blending use a stippling brush to apply your blush over your foundation."

"This really is a "must have". I was amazed at the difference between using the foundation brush and using other ways to apply foundation. Make up goes on smooth, has perfect coverage, and doesn't look like a "mask" with this brush. This is just an all around great make up brush!"

"This is my favorite foundation brush! I use it for mineral and liquid foundation. It's so soft and I love the handle! It's so easy to grip onto. The brush is gorgeous! I love the shiny black look. I actually bought two of these. One for the house, and one to put into my makeup case. I use it everyday and will never go without it!"

"Maybe Avon revamped this brush since the 2008 reviews, but I love it! I use it to apply tinted moisturizer, and the bristles are soft, they evenly distribute the product, and there's been no signs of shedding yet. Again, this brush is as good as other brushes I own that cost twice as much."
