"I have had oily, shiny skin my entire life. I have tried everything to resolve this problem, but nothing has worked until now. MagiX is a miracle! "I absolutely LOVE this product. I use it over my moisturizer in the morning. I used to have to apply foundation all over my face but now I use my foundation only in a few areas to even out my skin tone. My face is smooth and stays oil and shine free all day. I highly recommend this product."

"This product is fantastic. It feels like liquid silk when applying it. I use a mineral base powder over it and it looks great all day. Eye makeup doesn't crease, nor does my skin get patchy looking hours after putting makeup on. I'm going to try the Cashmere Finish one now. All of this with sun protection too makes it a multi-step product all in one."

"i have normal to dry skin, and was looking forward to using this product. it starts out fine- looks AMAZING- for about two hours. then my skin, even with my daily skin care, my skin looks 'scaly'. it becomes so dry and flaky and accents my wrinkles. even when unhappy, i have never returned anything, but am considering it with this one. sorry AVON, no bueno."

"This is the first review I am making because i feel like i do not give justice to this product if i don't write one. This is one of the best products out there. I have the oiliest face i know and this has controlled the oil on my face for at least 8 hours. I have a very physical job. II had always been on the hunt for a mattifier that does what it claims and now my search is finally over. My face has never been this smooth as well and i do not even drink water often, sometimes i even pass on water for 2-3 days and still my face is so soft. People also started asking what i use because my face glows!"

"I have no idea what's in this stuff but it's wonderful. I used as a primer under foundation.
A little goes a long way and it instantly makes my skin insanely soft. I normally get very oily around my t-zone but this product definitely helped control the shine and greasy feeling I'd get from the oil. It lasted an entire workday. I also noticed that my pores were no longer noticeable as were a few little blemishes I have. I really had to look hard to see them. I would feel comfortable wearing this without foundation on days I don't normally wear makeup just for the matte finish it gives. I hope they don't discontinue this one, love it."

"I keep some in the bathroom. I use it after every shower. I have oily skin. My skin will get oily within minutes of a shower. Not anymore...I always put this on right after a shower. I keep some in my handbag. If I stay over at a hotel, or go to my relatives house, it goes on right after the shower.My skin always looks great when I'm wearing this!"

"It does an ok job of smoothing and making the skin look very light, but if you put on any sort of make up on afterwards, be prepared to keep reapplying all day long. I used the MagiX instead of my usual daily moisturizer under my foundation since it has spf in it. i noticed that only a few hours into my day, my make up seemed to be "melting" off, and my face was shiney already. It was a cold day so I knew it wasnt due to heat and sweat (and i work indoors). I tried a different foundation and even just powder with the same results. Now I have almost a full tube left over and feel like I wasted my money. Not worth it unless you dont wear any foundation or powder during the day"

"I love this stuff. It does what it says. I put this on after I have put on my face creams and it keeps me shine free and smooth as silk all day. It never feels dry and doesn't clog my pores, it actually makes them appear smaller, well it does to me anyway. I am getting the Magix foundation next. If you purchase this you won't be dissapointed."

"I've tried many many different face washes, moisturizers, and foundations because my face tends to be a bit oily by the end of the day and nothing has helped. I've even used super expensive department store brands until I basically gave up. However, one of my friends recommended this product to me so I figured I'd give it a try & I was amazed at the results! This was the first time in years my face was not at all oily by the end of the day! I now use Avon moisturizers, which kinda make my face look greasy at first, but as soon as I put on the MagiX, my face becomes silky, yet matted. I definitely recommend this product and do not have one negative thing to say about it. I'm already on my third bottle too!"

"I really love this product! Ive noticed as I get older I seem to have oilier skin than I used to plus some dry patches but this stuff works great for me. I prefer to use it before I put on makeup but if a dont have time I throw it in my bag and apply it AFTER my skin starts to get oily and it gets rid of ALL my oiliness plus it doesnt interfere much with my foundation!! The only thing I dont like about it is that if I put it near my eyes it makes them burn but after a while it stops....still a great product and I hope Avon never changes the formulation unless it becomes fragrance free which will probably make it not burn my eyes and then I will love it even more!"

"It does go on smooth, I give it that. It tends to make the makeup, any kind, sit on top of skin, and makes it look like a layer of makeup you can see. I don't use this product after trying it, I have normal skin so I do not blame it on dry skin. It was not what the reviews claimed it be."

"My Avon rep. introducted me to this product about a year and a half ago and I fell in love. It is a great primer under full coverage foundation, a wonderful companion product to a sheer foundation or use it by itself to give you a natural even toned look. I actually received a compliment from a seasoned make-up artist who asked me what foundation I use. On that particular day I was just wearing MagiX. When I replied that I wasn't wearing foundation she said "you have such flawless skin, I wish mine was so nice." If you have one staple item in your make-up drawer, this should be IT."

"It really makes your skin feel great before you apply your foundation and I love the fact that you can wear it alone and that in the summer I won't have to worry about SPF because it's in there! It works pretty good for holding back shine, I am very oily in my T-Zone area and notice that after putting it on at about 7a.m., I am pretty good until about 2p.m. which is great for me! I am going to switch my foundation to an oil-blocking one, which will probably make the Magix last even longer but I do love the way it feels and would highly recommend it. I've known several people to try this and love it!"

"I'm a bronzed caramel gal, that doesn't like the look or feel of foundation (I have NEVER been able to find a color that matched!). I don't really need "covering" up, but still want my complexion to look as flawless, and as smooth as possible. I was a little skeptical of this product for “darker” skin tones, but after I tried it, and convinced some of my more chocolaty skin toned friends to try it, I was convinced! Magix blends nicely and looks natural on ALL skin tones and shades, not at all “ashy or chalky” looking (like a lot of foundations have made my skin look). You get the benefit of looking like your wearing make-up without actually feeling like you’re wearing it. No more jaw line mismatch, or un-natural face fiascos. This product is awesome! Whenever it goes on sale, I STOCK UP!!!"

"I purchased the Magix Face Perfector based on the excellent reviews, so I was expecting an amazing product. First of all the texture is very waxey, a little bit does go a long way so be sure to use sparingly. Secondly, I don't see an improvement in my skin or the way my makeup looks. All in all its really nothing too exciting."
