"I've been using Magix for about 5 years now and it's my absolute FAVORITE face lotion. I can't stand anything too oily on my face so Magix is perfect!! The spf is also great! My face never gets burned when I'm wearing it."

"I tiried this a little skeptical as I do not have oily skin but do have enlarged pores & wanted the SPF. Had to see what so many great reviews were all about!
I find it leaves my skin ready for a foundation or can wear alone with the Avon Powder Mineral Pressed Foundation (which I love).
It does make my pores look smaller, diffuses the llight and has the benifit if a Sun Screen so it is a lot of product packed in one tube-
I believe it helped with lines -somewhat. I am realistic and middle aged so even if you don;t have shine this is a no brainer. LOL"

"At first I did not believe that the white cream will actually work as a powder. But it exceeded my expectations! very light texture applied to the skin, quickly absorbed and the skin does not shine for a long time! Ideal for combination skin!"

"I really do love this primer it doesn't break me out and it's a nice base for my foundation. I have combination skin so I have really oily stops and really dry spots on my face. With this primer I can use it all over and it does help with the oil but I still do get a little oily just on my nose. The texture of this primer is powdery. I give this product an 8 out of 10."

"I love this product and use it every single day. I love that it has SPF so if I don't want to wear makeup, I don't have to! I like how this product fills in some imperfections and evens my skin. "I found that this product actually caused my makeup to appear very flaky and dry. I have combo/oily skin. I'm not sure why but my skin felt irritated whenever I used it. It may control some shine, but it isn't worth the irritation."

"I have been using this since it first came out. I used it under my foundation, as my sunscreen on no make up days, and now I pretty much only use it over my tinted moisturizer SPF30--it gives the finishing touch without foundation. My face feels so nice after applying it. Throughout the day my oily skin only needs a quick blot with a paper towel to look good again--I don't feel I need to keep powdering my face all day. It does make a difference when I use it--unfortunately I sometimes reach for my powder first and then it is too late to apply. When I get low I will only use it on the T-zone to stretch it out until the next sale :) Give it a try!"

"I have used MagiX ever since it came on the market. I liked the texture of it and how it helped hide those dratted pores and added extra sunscreen protection. So when it went on sale, I bought four more tubes. Unfortunately, the product has been changed. The new version is thinner and doesn't cover as well, plus it now has a really strong scent, to the point of making my eyes water! Which surprised me, as the number one comment I see in Avon reviews is complaints about the products being so heavily scented. My previous brand of make-up base costs more, but is unscented and non-irritating, so I am switching back."

"I could not believe that this product actually removed my typical face shine instantly and enabled me to go without my usual foundation! This is a miracle product for anyone who has a shiny, oily face like me. "I wanted something quick and basic for going out to run errands, to the beach, etc. that would smooth my skin and fight shine without actually feeling like I was wearing real make up. The product does everything it claims to, and is also a fantastic primer. When I do wear makeup, it makes my powder/foundation last nearly 12 hours! It makes my skin feel powdery soft, and there's not a line, blemish, or shine to be seen. Love, love, love it.
My gripe is that it is NOT COLORLESS like it claims to be. My skin tone is like burnt caramel, and this product gave my face a ghostly white appearance if I attempt to wear it on its own. So for me personally, I can ONLY use it as a primer. It is a perfect item for fair/light-skinned women, but any medium/dark-skinned women who try to use like me will likely have a similar reaction.
I REALLY hope they make another version of this that darker skinned women can wear, because I do very much love the product."
