"I had good skin before I used this as a face primer. I broke out in cyst acne after my first usage. You can feel the silicone clogging up your pores and not letting your skin breathe with this."

"I don't like to wear makeup most of the time and I'm not even sure what this does to perfect the skin. However, I am constantly complimented on my skin and it just seems to make the flaws unnoticeable. I love it."

"I tried this product as a favor for a friend that was selling AVON. It easily competes with some of the best primers on the market. It manages to control most shine, gives the skin a 'soft focus' look AND has sun protection. As an Aethetician for 10+ yrs, I appreciate sun protection in a cosmetically elegant formulation.
I have very oily skin that's prone to breakouts and I haven't had ANY issues when wearing this product. I wear it daily and have been for more than 5yrs.
I think the key is application: small pearl size over entire face after moisturizer, let set for 2 minutes and apply other cosmetics. I've mixed equal parts foundation with MAGIX to make tinted primer to avoid the 'made-up' look too..."

"I've been using Magix face perfector for about a year now and love it then decided to try this one out. My personal opinion is its too sticky, I will stick the regular face perfector. It may work well for someone else, it just wasn't for me."

"I have very oily skin and this is the only product that keeps it at bay. Although it doesn't complete the job 100% (I still blot 2-3 times through out the day) it is the closest thing I've found that keeps my face as matte as possible. Thank you Avon please don't ever take this away!"

"This stuff is AWESOME! I'm in my early 40's and have had very oily skin my entire life and have tried MANY mattifiers and primers promising to banish shine over the years but nothing has worked until this. When I ordered the primer I really didn't think it would work...have used it for a week now and still can't believe the rersults..no shine after ten hours. Even if you don't have oily skin you should try it because it also smoothes skin and makes it look flawless like nothing else. On a scale of 1 to 10 I give it a 100! "I've been using this product for about two years and it's the best primer/shine preventer I have yet to find. Yes, my forehead still gets oily/shiny but it's an improvement with this product and certainly better than any other product I have tired, even the VERY expensive ones. It's also great as a sunblock. I've used it the past two summers and I spend a lot of time in the sun...no sunburn! I usually wear little to no make-up in the summer and I feel fine just wearing this product due to how it makes my skin look smooth and reduces the appearance of pores. Definitely worth the $!"
