too soft

"I loved the shade I bought and it seemed to last a little longer than other lipsticks but I would never say 8 hours. Also the product is too soft and melts at nearly room temperature. It didn't last long due to the melting and ended up being a waste for the money. Stick with ultra color rich, glazewear, 24k gold, or pro-to-go."

Perfect Wear Discontinued Color

"I have been using the Perfect Wear brand for many years and my color of choice was Best Brown. I see that this color seems to be discontinued. I have tried Rich Brown, but it is much too red/orange and Twig is too light. I have dark hair and medium skin tone and the Best Brown was the best color for me. My sister also wears only Best Brown and I have given a tube to a few friends who also fell in love with that color. It seemed to change to match everyone. I am very upset that this color is no longer available. Is there any way that we can bring it back?"

"I tried this on a whim and glad I did. The lipstick is not really creamy or shiny (I would call it matte) and I like that. It darkens my lips and the color lasts. With most other lipstick it is obvious when it wears off and you look like you need to replace it. This lipstick gradually comes off and doesn't leave you with the "she forgot to put on her lipstick" look.
I bought the Totally Twig shade and like it. It's not the perfect shade for me but definitely wearable. I was expecting the shade to be more brown but it has a lot of pink to it (and least on me).
I have to thank one of the reviewers for going into such great detail with the shades she tried. Just so happens I have the same coloring (dark blond and fair) so based on her feedback I know which shades to try next - Nude Blush and Forever Pink!

"I have been a perfert wear lipstick user for years. I was running low, and ordered the color eternal flame. The color that was advertised on the website was the color I wanted-- NOT a very bright red, which is what I got. I will not order this product again without first previewing samples.""
