"I love this huge lip pencil. It's so easy to throw in a purse and it does not make a mess like some lip glosses do. It's nice and shiny too, which is rare to find in a pencil. I ordered the glossy sunset thinking that it would be a nice coral and it was more orange than anything. I would try it again in a different shade."

"Normally I avoid glosses because they are glaringly harsh against my skin tone (think Lauryn Hill) & feel sticky...These are sheer colors with a slight sheen. I bought all colors . The pencils are smooth, like a lip balm and the colors are beautiful.
I place mine in the fridge for a few hours before sharpening."

"Product is okay BUT how do you SHARPEN IT? Have ordered the 3 in 1 sharpener although I do have a sharpener that supposedly sharpens larger pencils. If that doesn't work, will definitely not be reordering!"

"Nice color, but an absolute horror to sharpen. It simply can't be done. The lip color is too soft and I wound up with mush in my sharpener. I guess I'll try to get my money's worth by jamming a lip brush down into the pencil, but I certainly won't purchase this product again."

"I'm a teenager so I don't like really heavy lipstick, but I also don't like loads of gloss. This was right in the middle - light coloring with a glossy sheen. It doesn't feel sticky or dry. I'm fair-skinned and use Glossy Rose.
It also works for older women, my grandma bought it for herself and loves it. She's 83!"

"I was so pleasantly surprised when I tried out this product! It glides on smoothly and has just the right amount of color and gloss ... and it stays put for a good amount of time. I read some reviews of people who couldn't find a sharpener to fit this pencil. If you have the 3-in-1 sharpener, just remove the plastic "minimizer plug" from the larger hole and your pencil will fit perfectly. I got the Glossy Rose & Glossy Celestial and LOVE both! You won't be disappointed!"

"I see a lot of people complaining about the tip breaking off or sharpening issues. I've had to do this with any pencils (from any mfgr)...and that is, when I know I'll need to be sharpening soon, I put them in the frig for a few hours. They sharpen right up. No issues.
Lovely pencils...great colors. I'll purchase them again"

"This is a great product that is a quick and easy way to make your lips look done and shiny with just one little pencil. The Rose color is very soft and nice, as many people have said. But no one has mentioned the Sand color, probably because the picture of it looks so dark or because it has nothing to do with the color of Sand! However, it is my new FAVORITE lip product. It is a lovely soft red (I am fair, so I don't usually wear red), but I have gotten so many compliments on this that I wear it all the time now. It even makes my teeth look whiter, but it isn't overpowering. IGNORE the picture and do yourself a favor--get one in the Sand color too!"

"I have a difficult time finding the right color for me since corals look the best and I can't wear frosts. My favorite was Sheer Coral Ultra Color Rich lipstick and they stopped making it a few years ago. It was like a gloss but not sticky. This big glossy lip pencil is wonderful! Not only is it a great color but it goes on sheer and glossy just like the Sheer Coral lipstick I used to buy. I bought three more today if I find something I like I buy more while they are available. Thank you Avon and think about bringing that Sheer Coral Ultra Color Rich shade back!"

"I bought this because the premise of having a lip color and liner in one sounded like a good idea! It was fabulous!!!!! I ordered it in the GLOSSY ROSE and was amazed at how great it looks on! It's got just the right amount of color with just the right amount of gloss. It's shinny without feeling sticky and glides on flawlessly. My lips felt smooth and it looks great! I couldn't ask for a better lipgloss...now I will have to buy TONS more, because it's my new lipgloss obsession!!!
Highly reccomended for those of us who try to save money and time by finding great 2-in-1 products like this!"
