"A child would like this, as the blue dye/color does NOT disappear on one's skin - at least my skin. Also, the scent is disagreeable and the oil separated. Thus, it's greasy."

"Ordered this because I liked the idea of sun and bug protection together in a lotion, and I thought my 2 year old would like that it's blue. Lotion goes on smoothly and smells great. My main issue with this lotion is that it stains your skin slightly blue.I was under the impression that it disappeared right away, but my son looks bluish and so do my hands after applying! Oh well, it seems to work well and the blue disappears eventually. It's also quite expensive for the amount you get, so I'm not sure this will be a regular purchase for us."

"I thought the Skin So Soft bug guard would smell like the skin so soft, as the previous product I had purchased did. It does not. Also, I bought the blue one for the kids thinking the color would blend in as you rubbed it on; it does not as I thought it would. Will not purchase this again."

"This is great for my son at school, camp, etc. It protects him really well from the sun, and especially bug bites. He was always coming home from school/camp with bad bug bites (hes allergic and swells up). Once I used this, no problems at all ever. Only thing I dont like about it, is the blue stains your hands. So you need to be near a sink and soap after you put it on."

"While this product works, the fact that it stains skin and clothing knocked my review way down. As soon as I realized it stained, I had to use a different product for our faces. The blue stains on clothing did not wash out. I will only get the white lotion in the future."

"I bought this to help with bugs, yet he did not work at all. After applying it, I got bite three times within ten minutes of applying product. Also, the blue tint left my skin a horrible dirty color that never faded. Would not recommend."

"I love this product because it works double duty and smells great, unlike some other bug repellents. The colored lotion really helps me to see the places I may have missed on my little ones. It does turn my hands blue for a bit but dissapates fairly quickly. A bit pricey but does go on sale and will stock up at that time."
