"I have tried other shine control foundations before and everything else seemed really heavy on my face. I have combination skin and I'm acne prone so I thought I would give Magix a try. When I first tried it I thought I gave my skin an oily feel but I found that it is just the cream turning to powder and that wore off leaving a silky feel. The smell is not that bad and that too goes away. The color for my fair/ light complexion is fine if you don't cake it on. A little does go a long way and it's not supposed to hide embarrassments. I would recommend it to anyone looking for minimum coverage."

"I had the regular Magix and loved how it felt when I put it on. So I bought the tinted version. I love this stuff! Just the right amount of tint to even out your complexion, without looking made up. smoothes on so easily and blends wonderfully. You have to try it!"

"If I could give this product more than 5 stars I would. My sister tried it and recommended it to me, I tried it and LOVE it! I am in my 40's and still fight with an oily t-zone. I cook for a daycare center and am in a hot kitchen all day long which doesn't help. Since using this product my t-zone shine has drastically decreased. On the weekends when I don't work, I don't have to retouch my makeup at all. I would recommend this product to anyone."

Beautiful, natural results with little effort Date: October 31, 2009
"I was already thrilled with neutral Magix + mineral foundation, but wanted to try the reviewer suggestion of using the tinted version with translucent mineral powder. Another winner! Since this looks great on its own, I can see me using this more for daily, out-the-door coverage and the neutral Magix with colored mineral makeup when I want more coverage. Perfector is the perfect name for this - a lovely finish with light coverage. You may need concealer as well to cover sunspots, etc. I have light/medium Hispanic skin and use the Medium shade. This is also a great example of Avon's top quality packaging - this is not a brittle compact that will crack or have broken hinges/closure from normal wear in your makeup bag or purse."
