"I ordered one of these quads - the textured teal - after reading the rave reviews. I was so excited that when my order arrived, I didn't understand why everything seemed so dusty. Seems the quad was broken and one of the shadows leaked all over. Called and ordered a replacement, but the same thing happened with the 2nd. Extremely disappointed and asked for a refund."

"Purple haze is definitely a must try for purple lovers! I really wanted to try a purple shadow, and this really delivers. Just one swip will do the job for a day look. for a night look, you might want to turn up the volume a little and use a little more. i like the black in the quad as well, i will use it to create a smokey eye effect when i go out at ngiht. there are countless ways to use it!"

"I bought this in Romantic Mauves and Tahitian Turquoise. Some of the shades are better on me than others, but I still really like them. You can tell which ones are my faves because they're half gone by now. I would like to try several other shades too.
I'm young enough that I can pull off a shimmery eyeshadow without it making me look older (bet most of you mature ladies didn't know that shimmery eyeshadows make eyes look older if there's any wrinkling going on in that area), so I usually go for the shimmery ones because I can pull them off. Like the deepest shade in the Romantic Mauves--that's one of my favorites. And the bronze shade from the Tahitian Turquoise quad, that's another fave.
It's a pity that Tahitian Turquoise was just a special offer last summer, I'd buy it again in a heartbeat."

"Oh I was so excited about this eyeshadow when it came out! Beautiful colors! I got the Teal set. The first time I swiped the aplicator on the eyeshadow I was like "huh". It didn't really transfer well. So I rubbed harder and still very little transfered. The colors don't transfer well onto your eyes either. I have very pale skin, the darker colors usually stand out very good, not this one! I gave up on it after trying to use it 2 times."

"I, purchased all the quads plus the 8-in-1 eye palette in neutral. All are exceptional. I,switched what I,used over to all avon products because they are known not to test on animals and are more afforable.
I, am so glad I, did I,am enjoying their makeup plus other products. The eyeshadows are very well pigmented beautifull shades I, believe on any eye color.
They are not gaudy they are well put together, and colored toward what nature has so they always look gorgeous."

"I purchased one of these and love it so much that I'm getting several more in different shades. I have "aging eyes" and some eyeshadows tend to form creases rather than glide on smoothly. But not this shadow. It applies easily without creasing, and stays on all day. The colors are delicious and don't fade. I always receive compliments when I wear it. Thanks, Avon. "I purchased this in Purple Haze, and these colours will make your eyes pop! Especially if you're a brown-eyed girl like me. I tend to use the top two purples (the lighter ones) during the day to brighten my eyes, and the darker purple and gray in the evening for a more sultry look. The lighter colours show up better, though."

"Well let me say first that I normally spend alot of money on department store makeup. Due to the economy I have looked for ways to be more frugal. I found Avon and decided to give it a try. I have this quad in Smokey Eyes. I have fair skin with pink undertones. At first I followed how it said to put it on and I did not like it. The pink is alot lighter in person than on the monitor. But then I mixed the light grey with the dark grey and put it all on my lid. I really like it. I used the black glimmersticks eyeliner and it is a really nice look. It is like a really pretty blue/grey which goes good with my blue/green eyes. I will be trying this in the nocturnal next. I hope this helps."

"I recently purchased the Blushing Raisins, Earth Tones, and Smokey Eyes quad. BEAUTIFUL colors, especially the gold color in the Earth Tones quad. These shadows are pretty pigmented and they lasted all day! My only complaint is that the pink color in the Smokey Eyes quad isn't as pigmented as I would like, although it looks lovely if layered on top of the softer gray. Very nice."

"It's beautiful shades, and shows how to apply it on the back. I'm just new to this make up stuff so it says "1-4" in various parts of the eye. I don't know what shade is 1, and what shade is 4. If they would make it just a little more clear for those who don't use make up as much as others thatd be great! But the product itself is wonderful."
