"I recently bought this shampoo with the conditioner, and it's one of the best hair products I've ever had the chance to try. I'm in my early 20's but I use a lot of anti-aging products (it's better to prevent problems now than fix them later!), this one is REALLY great. It leaves your hair very silky without making it feel oily, it smells fantastic and it's very affordable. I recommend this to anyone at any age with thin or frizzy hair, after just one use my hair feels really healthy and soft."

"I have awful, thin lifeless hair, and I have it dyed blonde (by a professional, not a peroxide job) and I have tried every expensive shampoo, conditioner and expensive hair product under the sun. I bought this shampoo along with the conditioner, and in using it once, it made my color look better, my hair softer and I was actually able to style it without half of my hair tangling up and ripping out of my hair. A brush went easily through my hair and I can't even remember the last time I was able to even style my hair that way. This is the best stuff I've ever used. I'm throwing all my expensive hair products away and just using Avon instead."

"This is the first review I have written on ANY product-but I felt I must share the good news with others. I am 46 and since my early 30's I have struggled with a very dry , itchy scalp. I also have very thick, long coarse dry hair. My sister was a beautician for over 20 years and we were always searching for a product that would both condition my scalp and make my hair smooth and more manageable as well...if you have these issues....here is your shampoo! I must mention that I use the whole system...the rinse and the treatment as well...but I have run out of the rinse [am reordering now] and have been using the shampoo and treatment only with close to the same satisfaction [but I recommend using all three together]...My hair is shiny and smooth and bouncy-my scalp dryness practically cured! I highly recommend this product to everyone and will be buying it for my sis and my mom and others for Christmas! The only down side is the rinse is sort of a thin consistency--and if you have thick or long hair you might want to buy two bottles[of the rinse] or you will run out of it sooner than the shampoo and treatment."

"IBoth the shampoo and conditioner worked well, but the scent was completely overpoweriing. The main reason I don't order lotions/shampoos are because Avon uses so much scent. I don't order the make-up because it is usually sticky, shiny and smelly as well. I do love the skin treatments though, but would still prefer them unscented."

"I have been using the Age retreat shampoo and conditioning rinse for two weeks. I can't remember the last time I felt that a shampoo/conditioning system made such a difference. I am 31, but have had thinning hair and scalp sensitivity for years.....My hair feels strong, healthy, and rehydrated after using this. This product is better than expensive salon products. You can't beat the price. Stock up when it's on sale. Try it along with the conditioning rinse. They are fantastic. What a terrific product!!! Thanks Avon. "I used to have very dry, brittle hair that was uncontrollable. worse i had spilt ends. i was so frustrated because salon brand products are expensive and weigh my hair down instead! so i decided to try this. within 10 days of using it, i started to realize my hair does not break when i brush, it does not fall as much, and lesser split ends! my husband even said, ¨ looks like you have more hair now ¨. oh.. volume? it is not my concern but that means i have a much healthier hair now! bouncy and not weigh down!"

"This shampoo is fantastic! I'm a total product snob and have used a top-of-the-line product now for a few years. Over time, I feel like I've tried them all. This shampoo is easily one of the best products out there. My hair is colored and it isn't dry after using this shampoo. The smell is clean but not overwhelming. It doesn't feel like it leaves a film on your hair... just really clean and full. I use it with the Volumizing Conditioner and use the hair oil before I blowdry. The Avon haircare products excede anything you could ever ask for and the price is unbelievably affordable! I can't recommend Avon enough!!! Fantastic!!!!!!!"

"I used this shampoo for the first time today. I combined it with the conditioner and leave-in treatment. I found my hair to be nice and soft and it felt like it had more volume. I'm 50, color my hair, and have had some thinning in recent years, so I'm always looking for products that will give me back some of that volume, softness and shine of my youth. "After spending too much on salon formula shampoos and conditioners that promised miracles, I still had hair fallout, breakage and itchy scalp. Store bought stuff only made it worse, and dandruff shampoos were damaging. So now, I am using such a wonderful product and will never switch. "Being over 50, I thought I was never going to find that lustre again in my hair, with or without color products, that I had in my younger years, and now my hair is very thin as well. With this shampoo (the treatment rinse and the leave-in styling product), that thought changed. My hair has not felt and looked this good in years. I will continue to purchase these products and save the money I was losing for so long in buying products that didn't work for me. Love it!"

"I am 29 and have thinning hair. I am currently on a hair regrowth system and needed a shampoo that was gentle and helped strengthen my hair. This was it!!!! It is very gentle and yet cleans very well. I love the smell. My hair looks feels healthy. I of course use the conditioner as well. Before this shampoo and conditioner my hair looked so dull. Now it is shiny and the color seems to brighten up!!! I would definately recommend this to a friend and in fact already have :)"
