"Does not thicken your lashes at all. It turns them into spikes. And then it rubs off within a few hours. It is definitely NOT waterproof."

"Maybe it's because my lashes are picky. But I had more trouble with this formula than any other Avon Mascara. The regular formula didn't wow me either.
It flaked off, it didn't wear for more than a few hours, and I didn't get the super full results as expected with the claims.
No real racoon eyes either, but nothing to really excite me."

"Yesterday I ran a half marathon with this mascara and black Glimmersticks on...in the pouring rain! After I crossed the finish line, I asked my husband what my eye makeup looked like. He said "you have makeup on? You look great!" meaning no raccoon eyes even with the sweat and rain. That was the ultimate test, and this mascara passed.
I won 2nd place... the mascara and eyeliner got first."

"I seriously cannot rave about this mascara enough. I have oily skin, which can cause all sorts of unattractive smearing and running of eyeliner and mascara, even the "waterproof" varieties. Well, those days are gone! This stuff is amazing. It goes on beautifully and stays on all day. I already have long lashes, but when I put on this stuff, it almost looks like I'm wearing falsies. It's ridiculously awesome. For all you other gals with oily skin, I'd highly recommend trying this...you won't regret it!!! :)"

"I have long eyelashes that are light brown, so I need to curl them and apply a dark mascara to make them show up. I also prefer a waterproof formula so I never have to worry if my eyes water or if I'm caught in an unexpected rainstorm. After reading the reviews, I was excited because I thought that this would be a great mascara for me, but I was wrong. The black was dark enough (though it looked gray in the tube), but it weighed my eyelashes down and pulled out all of the curl so I just looked tired. Also, it never really dried, so I got it all over my fingers and my eyelids, plus it just melted when it hit the STEAM of my shower (not even the actual water). I gave it to my mom (who has shorter lashes than I do) and she said it just clumped up for her."

"This is a great lower lash mascara! It really separtes the lashes and does make them longer and fuller but as for the top not so much. It made my lashes stand straight out no matter how much they were curled. My eyes also felt kinda heavy when I wore it on the top, I would recommend as a lower lash mascara but not top. So not the best mascara if you only want to use one."

"I have always had a problem with "racoon eyes" from mascara, but this one does not give me that look! The mascara goes on clump-free and stays on nicely...even through a terk-jerker of a movie. No smudges, smears or flaking and it washed right off exactly as advertised."

"I like this mascara very much! I wanted 1 that won't smudge when I sweat under the summer heat, and this is it. I have tried many drug store mascaras, and this is much better than those. I have also tried Chanel Inimitable mascara, which is of course the BEST on earth (in my opinion), but this product is really a good alternative especially now that I feel it's not neccesary to splurge makeup items. I am Chinese, so I am not blessed with long and thick lashes, but just a swipe this mascara makes my lashes instantly more noticable! as for waterproof or not, well, it did flake when i took a shower, but i am not looking for a mascara that can withstand downpours."
"Finally Avon has a truly waterprrof mascara and I love it! Previous Avon mascaras that were sold as waterproof flaked off and their non-waterproofs tend to smudge on me. This one works! I like the thin applicator, too. It makes it easier to control the product. My only negative comment is that it does not seperate very well on me - I do have to comb out my lashes between applications. But I think its worth it to have this great mascara delivered right to my door."

"I thought I'd give this mascara a try as I was looking for a waterproof mascara that would at least through the office work day. (Top lashes have never been a problem but those darn lower lashes!) Right now it has been 13 hours since I put the mascara on and it's still there! I am impressed! 5:30 am to 6:30 pm and I can still see my lower eyelashes. Would I recommend this to anyone? You bet! In fact, I was thinking of giving my four nieces (15, 18, 20 and 20) each a tube of this for Christmas!"

"I love this mascara. Finally, a waterproof mascara that is really waterproof! After a hot humid day here in the south, I don't have to worry about smudges or smears or dark mascara rings under my eyes because this mascara STAYS PUT. I also love what it does for my lashes. No clumps, no sticking together, and my skimpy lashes suddenly look great without looking like I have loaded on the mascara. I am constantly on the search for a mascara that basically lives up to its promises. You always see on the back of the package "No smudging, flaking, or clumping" and the complete opposite happens. The waterproof formulas leave you with dark circles just as fast as the regular versions. Not this mascara. It really does deliver."

"This product really does what it says. I have tried many mascaras and this is the best I have ever used. There are no clumps and it makes my lashes look super full and really long.
It washes off really easily with soap and water. I would prefer it to be more waterproof but thats just a personal preference."

"It only took one application and I was sold on this mascara. I've tried many different brands, and never loved one as much. It separates the lashes well, goes on great, and you don't need to do more than one coat so it is quick. Leaves the lashes long, full and beautiful. I hope they never get rid of this product - I'm sold for life!"

"See my super shock review ;-) I am a mascara junkie. The super shock is my favorite mascara, and this is a close second. I accidentally got it in waterproof, which i never get. but it is really nie, it comes off easily with soap and water, but stays on all day, and doesnt itch. It loosk really nice on, no clumps. Not as dramatic as the supershock, but still REALLY pretty with done up eyes. I got it in brown just becuase i have SO many black mascars. I was nervous about the brown, it is so light looking. But it really looks nice on. I would deinitely buy this again, and i would buy other avon mascaras in waterproof now too, that i have tried them."
