"I can not praise this product enough!! I have tried every mineral make-up on the market, even Bare Essentials. NOTHING compares to Avon Smooth Minerals. I have moderate acne and a very hard time covering it up. This absolely does the trick and a little goes a long way. Other mineral makeups make you skin look dull. But Smooth Minerals leaves your skin glowing :) THIS IS A MUST TRY FOR EVERYONE!"

"I ordered the Smooth Mineral foundation with high hopes. I ordered the Nutmeg and the product was WAY too dark,too red and too orangey. I still want to try-out this product but I am going tohave to order a lighter shade,next time. With all of the marketing and hype that went into this product, It is hard to believe that this product is on its way out. I guess that it didn't live up to the hype."

"I have been using bare minerals from bare escentuals for about 3 years now. Nothing came close to the coverage of it! Anything cheaper, proved to not work as good. I read the reviews for this product and decided to give it a try since it's less than half the price of bare minerals, and I could not be happier! The coverage is incredible, even better than BM, it stays on the whole day, and the color is perfect. I have it in ivory, and it blends with my skin perfectly. I use less because the coverage is so good. Love this product!"

"I really like this product! I think the first few uses I did put too much on and ddin't tap the brush enough which made my skin feel really cakey. Also, I have fair skin and purchased Light Beige, which was WAY too dark, but I'm going to get it again in soft ivory. Other than being too dark, it did make my skin look much healthier and had a really nice glow to it. One otherissue is that it doesn't really cover my blemishes when using this with the Ideal Sahde Concealer Stick (probbly more to blame for the skin though) so I am going to purchase the Smooth Minerals Concealer and hopefully it does as well as stated in the reviews. I would recomend this product, but to be careful with shade selection and with the concealer to cover problem areas better."

"I didn't like this at all when I first bought it. It made my face shiny and it settled into my pores making me look polka-dotted. Then I found the old formula on clearance. All I can say is the old formula is 100% better than this new formula. It gave great coverage and looked wonderful on my skin with only one coat. This stuff takes two or three coats to get decent coverage and then looks cakey. I also don't like that I have to mix two different shades to get one that looks half-way decent. It never comes out the same. Bring back the old formula Avon!"

"I've always wanted to use Bare Minerals but wasn't willing to fork out the big bucks for that product. I was excited to see that Avon introduced a true mineral product -- not one that says it's mineral based, but then is loaded up with stuff like talc which makes me break out horribly. I have some old acne scars on my face and this makeup makes me look awesome -- I can finally fake flawless skin! I'm only a few days into using this, so I hope I stay as impressed with this as I am right now."

"I'm a big fan of mineral makeup. I've tried just about every brand out there ranging from cheap to super expensive. I was shocked at how much I like Avons version. I picked up the light kit and I've actually thrown out all of my other mineral powders. A few of the others made my face hurt/burn after it was on all day out in the heat. I don't get that reaction with the smooth minerals at all. The coverage is great. I am plagued by dark circles. I still find that if I use a yellow based liquid concealer and then a light liquid concealer before applying the powders that I get better coverage overall. Seems time consuming but I've yet to find something that completely covers my circles. I love how the powder doesn't cake on dry skin. It always looks flawless. I use the translucent powder as a highlighter. It's fabulous. If you haven't done so, give it a try. You absolutely won't be dissapointed. Oh and I don't find that the powder is too sparkly. I HATE sparkle makeup. This product has a small amount of shimmer but that's what helps highlight the face."

"but I haven't been having problems with this foundation being too shiny or orange. I like it because it doesn't look like I'm wearing make up at all. The others are right it doesn't last as long as liquid foundation, but liquid foundation makes me look plastic while this product is just right."

"I wasn't going to get this at first but a friend of mine told me to just try it. I opened up the package and immediately fell in love when I brushed it on my face. It went on so smoothly and nice! I covered up my acne scars and the tiny pimples on my forehead. The color choice is amazing too! It matched my skin perfectly! It also gives me that airbrushed look. Ladies, you know how models in magazines have have that perfect smooth face? Well, you can get that with this product!"

"I just tried the Bronze today and it looks great! I am East Asian so decided to be safe the first time and try the Bronze as I thought it would be pretty neutral. My skin tone is a medium tan with a yellow undertone. I first put on a day moisturizer. The Bronze evens out my face tones since my cheeks are naturally lighter. It appears as if I have a glowing natural tan. My face also matches my darker arms better (tan from the Summer) when I wear short sleeves. It looks great! This is great to use in the Summer. It is nice and light, without feeling as if you're wearing anything. With Winter approaching I will buy the transparent glow along with a foundation and will report back. I'm so pleased I decided to purchase this and can't wait to wear it out at night!"

"I was so excited to see that avon came out with a mineral foundation. I have sensitive skin so it's difficuly for me to find makeup. This doesn't clog my pores, covers wonderfully, it's weightless, and it's so gentle I could even sleep in it! The best part is the price - I don't have to break my bank on makeup every month. "I ordered this make up because it is considerably less expensive than the other brand I usually use. I have been using mineral make-up for 10 years. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried this. "This website's depiction of the colors is very very off. I have pale skin but not the absolute palest. I thought I would be okay with the NUDE color, since it appears to be the second lightest shade. Instead, in person, nude is actually quite dark with large notes of reddish tint. I compared my NUDE with my mother's SAND BEIGE (for tanner skin)and the NUDE is actually darker than hers! I suggest looking in an avon magazine for a more accurate depiction of the colors. I guess I'll have to try soft ivory, hopefully it isn't too pale. The product, however, is amazing. I have reccomended it to so many people!"

"I have used other mineral foundations but this is by far my favorite. I don't wear it alone because it doesn't provide enough coverage for me. However, I wear it over my liquid foundation and it gives me a flawless look. I wear the IDEAL shade cream-to-powder foundation in Sand Beige with the Mineral Foundation in Light Beige over top and then top it off with the Mineral Foundation in Translucent Glow to give the final look. My skin looks healthy and flawless. I get compliments on my makeup all the time.
I know it sounds like a lot but I use the mineral foundation instead of a powder on top of my liquid foundation. I do not have a cake look at all. My skin looks very natural, smooth, and even."
