"I am new trying this serum and am impressed. It has soften wrinkles making my skin look smoother. It works. The package is not good. I read the review from upwoman how her husband opened the container and it is true. I tried to open it through the back and found there is alot of left overproduct good to use. That saved me some money. It is costly, but it the results impressed me to want to keep purchasing the serum."

"Wonderful, velvety cream that really does make skin look less wrinkled, more even toned and younger. I order regularly because it has become one of those products I use EVERY day and don't want to run out of. For me, it's spendy so I watch for sales (which happen quite frequently) and I order when the prices are better.
The packaging (the only reason I rated 4 stars instead of 5) can be a headache... and wasteful. Some pumps function as expected but others do not and you will throw away a lot of this deliciousness if you don't know to pry open the package with a screwdriver or a kitchen knife. There is a tube inside that is frequently harboring as much as a third of the cream so never throw the package away without checking. SUGGESTION TO AVON: Dispense this excellent cream in a simplier package and pass that savings on to your customers."

"I am 71 years old and have pretty good skin. I'm hoping for noticeable improvement - so far so good. I can see a small difference in wrinkles and my main concern, a large dark spot, is beginning to fade a little. This will be the big test for me as I've wanted to be rid of this spot for years.
It's too bad all the scientists' discovery for skin repair is overshadowed by terrible packaging. I had to pry mine apart and was surprised to see all the detail it took to make this serum dispense. What a waste! Simple is better - most of us will buy an excellent product no matter how it's gussied up. It's very irritating that a company so revered would resort to putting on the glitz. Please, please focus on what's important and continue to give us excellent products - with no baloney!"

"Love the product! It makes my skin look and feel soft and smooth. I dislike the container/applicator, however.... I have a difficult time pumping it out, and I can't tell if it's empty or not. Avon, please do not get rid of this product, but I would recommend coming up with a better container/applicator."

"I have been using Avon for 18 years. I love most of your products. I am 80 years old and told that I look like 65. My skin look very good. My only problem with the serum creams are the containers. There is a lot of waste because when you get near the bottom it doesn't pump out. Please consider changing the container."

"I really like this product. It performs as advertised. Makes my skin feel great! However, the dispenser is not so great. I'm glad I read a review about opening it up. The serum was not coming out any more so my husband opened up the dispenser. There is quite a bit more inside. I'm glad I did not throw it away as it is not a cheap serum. Great stuff, container not so great!"

Great as a Spot Corrector!

"I have been using this for a month and after two weeks I noticed that a large freckle (that was quite noticeable) began to diminsh. Now it has become just a "normal" freckle ;) I read other reviews that this would help reduce spots- and it really does! I am very impressed with how well and how fast it works.
I apply the serum all over my face in the am and at night I apply it as a spot treatment. It leaves my face feeling softer, however I still use a moisturizer- after applying the serum."

"I was hoping this product would help fade some sun spots on my face, especially one that recently appeared. It didn't do anything for that. What it did do was minimize my pours big time - so I love it for that but will keep searching for something to take away my age spots."

"This was my first avon purchase, along with a few other products. I think I was hoping for a miraculous serum, based on other reviews. It goes on easy, feel velvety, and is fine to wear at night or under makeup during the day. But I am not sure that it really has much result in improving my skin. The velvety surface feel from the serum acts mostly like a makeup primer in my opinion, but doesn't seem to do anything to my actual skin.
The main problem with it is that the fragrance is very unpleasant, perfumy, and strong. I prefer non-fragranced products in general, and I didn't know this would have one. Some products with fragrance do smell nice and light, and I don't mind, but I actually can't stand the way this smells. I stopped using it because of that (noticed no real difference in my skin), then started it again, just to see if I was missing something. Although there have been no negative effects such as breaking out or peeling, and I do have sensitive skin, the unpleasant smell, coupled with feeling like there is not a big improvement in my skin makes me want to send it back, sadly."

"Very disappointed in the packaging. I am not going to put the package on my skin. I feel like I have paid all my money for a bright package and much smaller interior which contains the item I really want.
I would recommend much simpler packaging, ie: a tube! A tube fits anywhere.
This packaging is bulky and a waste to the environment. Let the product speak for itself."

"I really liked the serum, got lots of compliments on the appearance of my skin. The one draw back was the container it is in. I dropped it, it partially separated, had to attempt to snap it back together, which sort of worked. Unfortunately, you also have no idea when you are going to run out, as the container itself is quite heavy, and you can't see when you're running low."

"I have noticed no improvement in my skin from this product. It doesn't even last a month though I 've read where I can used a screwdriver to take it apart and will find another two weeks of product. Why doesn't Avon used a regular jar and save on package costs that then could lower the price of the product. I am always looking for a product to help with wrinkles but once again I was disappointed."

"I have been blessed with my freckles. However, since turning forty, these blessings are becoming tan blotches across my cheeks. After using the renewal serum for only two weeks, the blotches faded! "Ordered this renewal serum after reading previous reviews - and found everything that was said to be true. The product is great - feels wonderful when you apply it and seems to soften the look of wrinkles....BUT the packaging is terrible! I have used a small amount, in the morning and night, for just two weeks and already it is empty. I will try and break open the container as previous people have suggested to see if there is more inside. But for the price - you should at least get a months supply, otherwise you are being overcharged!!"
