"Once I tried the Frizz Control Lotus Sheild Anti-Frizz Treatment, I was hooked! It left my hair so smooth like when I leave a salon. I recently ran out of it and purchased a product at a drug store that sounded like it would do the same thing...big mistake! I ordered the anti-frizz treatment soon after. It smooths my hair when I blow dry and keeps my hair smooth throughout the day. I must admit in the incredible summer humidity we've been having lately that my hair is not super smooth. It's smoother than it would be, but still a little frizzy from the humidity. My hair is wavy if I let it dry naturally and long."

"I was expecting to like this alot more than a do. It is not bad, just not great. It is a small bottle, but you only use about a quarter. It does help with fly aways, but I have not noticed a dramatic reduction in frizz. I have naturally wavy or aka frizzy hair in the summer. I might buy again at the right price, but a can also live without it. It does also condition hair a little as well."

"I've tried several different products to ease the frizz in my hair, this is my favorite by far. Unlike silicone serums, this is lightweight, does not build up, and does not make my hair look greasy or flat. As another reviewer said, make sure you shake it really well, especially before the first use. I use about 2 dime sized amounts for my thick, shoulder-length hair. I rub it between my palms and work it into the ends first, then use the second dollop and work it through the length and smooth it over the the top layer, then comb it through. I have found my hair to be even smoother now that I use the Advance Techniques Lotus Shield shampoo & conditioner. Love it!"

"When I bought this I had long curly hair that would tend to frizz up. This product only worked fairly well at that time. But I recently got my hair cut shorter (shoulder length), and it works much better!"

"I live in Houston, so battling humidity is an ongoing issue for me. In addition, I only wash my hair every 5 days or so, so finding anti-frizz products that last between washings is tough. This product works pretty darn well, all things considered. It had a cummulative effect for me - it worked better after about a month's worth of applications (which is only 6 times). Once in a while I skip it, and I can always tell the difference within a few hours. That is when I really see what a big difference this product makes for me."

"I received this as a sample from my representative when I commented about how I couldn't find a product that could tame my frizz. I was excited to try it but I was quickly disappointed. The product was dense and sticky and smelled like perm solution. Even worse, it made my hair feel as if it were coated in plastic. My brush wouldn't even go through my hair!
It took three rounds of shampooing to get the stuff out of my hair. Maybe I got a "bad batch", I don't know, but I'm glad I didn't waste my money on this product."

"I was skeptical at first because I have used numerous amounts of different frizz prevent products in many brands. I have always had a frizz problem because of where I live. I tried this yesterday and we have had nothing but rain. I walked outside and went back inside to look in the mirror. NO FRIZZ!!!! I was so excited! "I live in a very hot, humid climate so I was very excited to try this product. The first day it seemed to make my hair frizzier, so I thought perhaps I hadn't used enough. The second day I used more, and now it feels more like a lead shield than a lotus shield! My hair is weighed down and looks horrible. I do NOT recommend this product at all!"

"I have curly/wavy, dry hair. I have used tons of different products. I had high hopes for this, but it does not work. I wish I would have listened to the other reviewers. They are right. It does not control frizz, makes your hair feel strange, and it not worth the money. I think other products from the drugstore in the similar price range (or less) actually work much better. I did not try it on when I blow dried my hair straight, just used for curly mode. I tried it alone first, then another day I used it along with my other styling products. I also tried using different amounts. I even used it on my 3 year old, who has very healthy hair. This product does not deliver. I also bought the shampoo and conditioner and was VERY disappointed. I am just glad they were all on sale."

"Bought this product reluctantly since I've never been able to find a product that I really liked. This works well and doesn't leave my hair oily or oily looking. I started having my 12 year old daughter use it too - she has extremely curly hair (ringlet curls) that gets frizzy just combing it and it has helped a lot. I've recommended it to my friends so thought it was worth writing about (first comment regarding an Avon product ever). I recommend really shaking the bottle when it's new to get it mixed well. Otherwise, the first few squirts are just oily and not creamy. I also like to use Avon's Advance Techniques smoothing cream, which was discontinued (boo!)."

"This is the best product I have used at controlling frizzy hair. I have very thick, wavy hair which is difficult to control living in the humid subtropical climate of south Florida. I use only a dime size amount on my medium length hair and then blow dry my hair straight. I don't even need to touch up with the straightening iron if I use this product. I would caution not to use more than a dime size amount or your hair will appear greasy. If that happens, scale back the amount you use next time and you should be pleased with the results."

"I bought this over the summer when it was included in a gift set and had high hopes, but I wasn't impressed. The first time I used it, it did make my hair really soft and silky which I liked, but it did nothing to help frizz or help tame humidity. After daily use for a week, it started to make my hair greasy and weighed down even though I only put about a dime sized amount in my hair (it's below my shoulders and REALLY thick). I quickly gave up on this and it now resides at my parents' house with the rest of my "reject" hair products that I use when I'm in a bind. I just wasn't impressed with this at ALL."
