"I bought this with the scrub in the same purchase and love the scrub so much more. I couldn't tell from the descriptions how they were different, but the gel only has a few beads in it, while the scrub is much thicker. I'll probably finish the gel eventually, but I have been using the scrub every day and love it. If I had to choose between them, I would not pick this."

"I bought this because the pores on my cheeks near the bridge of my nose were getting plugs of white/clear grain type material. Not sure if it's sebum or dirt but I bought this and I noticed a lack of the bumps on my face. My face doesn't FEEL any different but so far I like it!"

"This is very good cleanser. It does provide a little exfoliation. Sometimes I like to use it with a wash cloth, and sometimes with just my fingers. A little goes a long way. The first time I used it, I had a terrible cluster of acne, and I had popped and picked and popped and picked... I still had a few deep pimples plus scabs/sores from the picking. It was amazing how after one wash with this, everything started to just dry up, become smooth and start to clear right up! The active ingredient is Triclosan 0.40%, an antibacterial and antifungal agent used as an antiseptic. I find it to be refreshing, and my face feels exceptionally clean but not too dry. I have to say that after using the cleanser I applied Anew Clinical Derma-Full Facial Filling Cream for the first time as well, which has glycolic acid (among other ingredients). Later I applied Avon Nutura Replenishing Cream, a fabulous moisturizer no matter what skin type you have. I almost always have clean, clear, soft, moisturized skin. Loving it!"

"I have really problematic skin - I'm in my mid twenties, and I get breakouts like a teenager. I always have, and it makes me look younger than I am, and people don't take me seriously. Using a lot of cover-up makeup only makes me break out more (even oil free varieties) so I struggle to find a balance. Plus, I have extremely sensitive skin, so many acne products really irritate it and I get red and blotchy and puffy - this inflammation only makes my skin more likely to break out.
So background info aside:
I have been using this product in conjunction with the Blemish Clearing Foaming Cleanser, one one day, one the next. Spreading them out, plus their gentleness, has led to little irritation. I still get pimples (the kind that last a long time), so these products have not entirely eliminated them, but my skin feels better, and I think they are fewer and farther between. I'm going to stick with my routine and I think I'm seeing some progress.
I have been using this product in conjunction with the Blemish Clearing Foaming Cleanser, one one day, one the next. Spreading them out, plus their gentleness, has led to little irritation. I still get pimples (the kind that last a long time), so these products have not entirely eliminated them, but my skin feels better, and I think they are fewer and farther between. Adult acne has been a huge problem for me, and I've tried SO MANY things. These seem to be helping a bit."

"I have only used this product 3 times and I already am in love with it! I have suffered from cystic acne and have used everything from surgical soap to antibiotics, every face wash in the face wash isle etc etc and this so far is helping soo much better than anything I have ever tried before! "The smell is sort of like something you'd smell in a doctor's office. Clean, disinfected, sterile, medical. But once you get past it this product is great!
Very refreshing feeling. My skin felt cooler after I washed my face with this. I liked the little green beads, not sure what they did. I thought maybe exfoliation but there weren't very many. My skin felt clean and it took off make up well. Didn't bother my sensitive eyes. I always put lotion on after cleansing, so I can't really vouch for whether or not this will make your skin feel tight or dry.
I have combo skin, and I tend to get pimples in weird spots if I don't use some kind of "acne" product. I went a couple days using a different non-acne fighting product and noticed pimples forming, I washed once with this and they went away over night.
I loved this product so much I cut the tube open to get ALL of the remaining product out. lol!

"While this doesn't dry my skin like some other cleansers have, it doesn't really get it clean either, as I can see on the cotton pad of toner I use before applying moisturizer. I haven't noticed any improvement with breakouts either. I wish Avon would bring back the TruePoreFection line. That worked much better."
