TO USE:
1. Flip open lid and remove the adhesive seal
2. Close lid and turn container upside down
3. Gently shake container back and forth to load powder
4. Turn container right side up and open lid
5. Swirl a brush on the dispensing surface to pick-up powder, apply in a circular motion
6. Repeat as necessary to get your desired look
*Transparent Glow is .12 oz net wt. Same amount of application as other shades.

"The mineral powder works very well if you can get it out. (Would have rated higher)The tiny hole where the powder is released is plugged up so hardly any comes out. If the top unscrewed it would be ok, but it's too much work as it is."

"I've used Avon's smooth mineral foundation & blush for approx. 3-4 years now. It's the best! I have a darker skin tone than most and have acne scars from a teenager. This is good coverage and very light feeling, not like liquid foundation. Good price, especially with the sales Avon often runs. And one compact lasts a very long time. I wear makeup every day. I would give the Smooth Minerals more than 5 Stars!""

"I have used various different mineral makeups and this is excellent. Do not care for the containers. If you have lots of static electricity in your area you will leave a fair amount of makeup in the container when you throw it out. At the very least you need to be able to remove the lid. REALLY!!!"

"I have always had problems finding a foundation that works for me because I have really oily skin and fair skin. Liquid foundations always have looked too cakey or dark on my face and you could tell I was wearing it, even with the lightest shade available. I gave the smooth minerals a try when it was released and loved it, it looks natural on my face and blends in with my skin tone and it does not clog my pores or look cakey and feels light. I love it and it is the only foundation and blush I use now. I threw all my liquid foundation away."

"I love mineral foundation. I have dry skin and liquid foundations leave little flakes on my skin. Mineral foundations give great coverage over red areas and don't leave flakes or creases. Both of my teenage daughters also wear it daily and they get great coverage over any acne problems that occur. I have fair skin and I start with light beige to cover any redness and then top it off with nude to keep my lighter tone. The only thing I don't like is the packaging. It was a great idea in theory, but the dispenser doesn't allow you to completely use up the product. I would rather see a container with a removable lid (so I can use it to tap my brush in) and an insert that slides open and shut so you shake out the amount you want, but you can also close it and it won't spill when traveling."

"I'm 64 yrs old and I've used a lot of foundations in my life. But this one is great. I'm from the age you don't leave your house before your makeup is applied. All I have to do is brush on this lightly then smooth over with my hands and alittle blush and I look as good (smooth skin tone) as ever. Blends well on your skin. And last!"

My favorite product, transparent glow

"The transparent glow is my must have and favorite product. It gives my skin an overall smooth and balanced look and dulls any shine. I like that it doesn't add or take away any color. I wear the transparent glow over my mineral foundation and on its own if i have a healthy sun kissed glow already. The new design is great and makes it nice for when I'm touching up because there isn't that "poof" of powder flying everywhere."

"I like the loose mineral makeup. Good coverage and staying power. However, I detest the delivery system. It is a major muisamce and serves no purpose. The little flap in the container needs to be removed. Why are you such control freaks? The customer will use the amount she wishes without your help. Coverage is good, but I have not used any other company's mineral makeup and cannot give a comparison to more expensive brands."

"I like the more natural look and feel on my face. I wish they would change the container. It works fine until the powder gets low. Then I have trouble getting it to come out. You can always take it apart to get the last bit out ,but I would prefer not to."

"I bought this on a whim because I'm tired of wearing liquid foundations. I wanted something light and very natural. And this is it! I ordered the nutmeg shade knowing it would be a little bit too dark for me. I had to break open the packaging so I can mix it with a lighter shade to get my perfect shade. To go through all that trouble for such a great product was worth it. This goes on light and even, and silky! I love that it's what hides flaws and minimizes pores also. I love the product! But hate the container."
