TO USE:
1. Flip open lid and remove the adhesive seal
2. Close lid and turn container upside down
3. Gently shake container back and forth to load powder
4. Turn container right side up and open lid
5. Swirl a brush on the dispensing surface to pick-up powder, apply in a circular motion
6. Repeat as necessary to get your desired look
*Transparent Glow is .12 oz net wt. Same amount of application as other shades.

"I, like many others, prefer the previous container. But the product is great. I have been using it for years! The only negative is that Avon can't seem to keep my shade in stock. I have to buy it in quantity when they finally have it so that I don't run out. Avon - look at your sales and forecast the correct quantities of the most favorite shades!"

"I absolutely love this stuff, but unfortunately I believe I have a skin sensitivity to something in it. It's made my face itch everytime I put it on, which is horrible because I love the lightweight yet maximum coverage it affords. Would recommend this to anyone that doesn't have crazy sensitive skin. "I have used mineral makeup for about 10 years now and love this product from Avon. Does not aggravate my acne prone skin and cause more. Even though it is medium coverage, I still think it is too much coverage so I mix my color with Transparent Glow and it is perfect. Just wish they would go back to the original sifter packaging with the screw on lid. With this configuration, the top keeps wanting to come off and I am afraid it will end up in my lap every time I open it."

"I love the product, it's the lid I don't. Always before the lid had little holes that the product was dispensed from. They worked great because you shake out as much powder as you wanted or as little powder that you wanted. Now it's automatically dispensed (which is a great feature) BUT you get too much dispensed and there's no where for the extra to go except in your brush and then on your face! It would have been great if they would of put a couple of holes in the lid to be able to shake excess off."

"I hate the packaging. I've been using Avon's Smooth Minerals for years. I tried a couple of others and wasn't really happy with either one. Then my friend and Avon rep told me (years ago) that Avon makes a mineral makeup too. As usual, I could return it if I didn't like it. Well, I fell in love and have been using it ever since.
When the packaging was changed, I was really annoyed, because I mix two different shades. After reading some of the reviews from customers who have the same problem, I wanted to share my solution.
I remove the lids/covers from both shades. Then I take both and mix them in one of the old containers that I still had when the packaging changed. If you don't have an old container, any empty one with a lid will do. You have to dip your kabuki brush into the minerals, but you're going to tap it off anyway, since layering is the key to good coverage.
Hope this helps and keep using the best mineral makeup in the fashion world! Thanks, Avon."

"I like this product because it covers without drying my already very dry skin. It doesn't crack or flake off. The coverage I'd call medium, not full. I have to use concealed stick undrrneath. That would be my only complaint, that I wish it were full coverage so I wouldn't need concealer. It also feels light and breathable compared to liquid foundations. I buy this probably most at a much more affordable price than competitors. Doesn't melt in heat."

"I have been using this soft powder foundation for a year now and I love it! It is so light weight and looks very natural. This is a great shade to have during the winter if you don't plan on tanning. It is a really light shade so make sure if you are not a very fair person to swipe a little bronzer on.
