"I purchased my set 6 years ago and they wonderful. They look like new, no scratches or nicks, even though I use them all the time. They have been sturdy enough to stand the test of time. They go in the microwave which is so handy for softening butter and other uses like that, but I don't heat something greasy to a high temp in them. (The colorful melamine bowls that are sold in most stores are not microwave safe.) Like having a lid that fits the bowl. Great sizes for all types of uses and like the fact that they stack inside each other. The lids are thin so they are easy to store standing up. The bowls are a little flexible but that is an asset, not a sign that they will wear out soon. Would be a great wedding shower present, but not always available when I need them. If I had more room in my house I'd have a set on hand for a great gift."
