"Just bought the Winter Taupe color and I love it with my light brown eyes. It's a dark gray/taupe color. It does have a shimmer to it (more a shimmer than an all out sparkle), but since I like a bit of a shimmer in my eyeshadows it's perfect for me. I prefer cream eyeshadows when I have no patience in the morning to deal with fallout under my eyes from my powder shadows.
The color goes on smoothly and evenly - but it does go on nice and light with one coat, builds to a deeper grayish taupe with two. Let dry between coats - I'd say after about 30 seconds you are good to relayer. After the cream dries, the finish is powdery, and stays crease-free on me all day. I commute to NYC from NJ and have a long day, so that is really saying something. I don't have the time or opportunity to reapply.
I have also used this as a base for my darker eyeshadows, and it helps to add depth of color and staying power. You will enjoy it! Use a stiff eyeshadow brush to apply if you have one."

"I am a woman of color but not dark-skin. I have more of a carmel color! This eyeshadow (i have it in seafoam green) glides on well, does not crease nd stays all day. Nice color nd i will consider buying more. Its similar to revlons color tattoo eyeshadow but wayyyy cheaper. Nice product"

"I bought the eyeshadow primer and brush and the same time. I can't believe how well my shadow stayed on without hiding in the creases or disappearing. I had never considered cream shadow, but now I'm a big fan. My only quibble would be the color selection.It is limited in everyday colors."

"I love how the Cream Eyeshadow feels on my eyes! However, I wish it stayed on my eyes for a bit longer. It wears off pretty quickly. I wouldn't purchase any other cream eye shadow products.. Although, I still do enjoy shopping at www.avon.com!"

"I have this in 4 colors now - Taupe, Plum, Stone and Candy Sorbet (pink). These go on very smoothly (I use a concealer brush to apply) and are sheer as the description says. A second coat adds a lot more of the color so you can get as much or as little as you want.
I found the Stone and Candy work well as a base for other shadows, if you want to build color that way. Excellent product and I'll probably end up with ALL the colors before long."

"This is a very sheer cream eyeshadow. However, if one wanted to intensify the color, simply add a second layer. It has wonderful staying power and did not collect in the creases of my 59-year old eyelids.The only reason I do not give it 5 stars is that I believe Avon should give thought to making at least one neutral color without the sparkles in a matte finish. Not everyone wants sparkles, even modest ones, all the time."

"I have been waiting for Avon to come out with creme eyeshadow. I have some from another company and have loved them. Avon's is light and smooth, but the color is not that intense - very subtle. It does stay on all day and doesn't settle into the crease. I would just like the color to be bolder. I will buy them again though."
