"I've used a lot of eyeshadow primers over the years--some expensive ones from department store make-up counters, some mail order from competitors' consultant-based cosmetics, some cheaper ones from local department stores. I have been using Avon's Eyeshadow Primer for a couple of months, now, and this is--by far--the best primer product out there! It goes on so smoothly, and yet it dries quickly without feeling tacky or heavy. And my eyeshadow (and even eyeliner) stays on ALL DAY when I use the primer. I LOVE this product and am ordering more right away--PLEASE don't ever discontinue this one!!!!!!! :)"

"This is a very good primer. I have very oily eye lids and this primer keeps the oil from coming thru the eye shawdow-all day. A little goes a long way and it blends and dries perfect. I have light mocha eye lids and the darker primer is perfect. The primer does not change the color of the eye shawdow and actually seem to enhance the blending process."

"I bought this product after reading glowing reviews on the website. NOT! I bought "warm beige" which is actually a muddy color, kind of orangey. It caked up on my eyes after an hour or so and my eyes were running like I was crying. Am I allergic to it? Most likely but even if I wasn't the product is not to my liking at all."

"I read all the reviews before purchasing and they made me confident to buy. It does have it's good qualities. It goes on and nice and dries fast, looks good by itself and does bring the color out when using with eyeshadow. But where it fails for me is keeping my shadow from creasing, by the end of the day my shadow is gone except for what is in the crease and that was my whole reason for buying it."

"This eye primer is awesome. My face/eye lids are very oily. I have sensitive skin too no irritatation on lids. This eye primer kept my eye shadow lasting longer than I expected. Plus the eye primer enhances your eye shadow and best of all the price is right for a product that works and goes a long way. You need very little not greasy or too creamy. "I'm glad Avon came out with this product - I had been using mark Please Hold primer, but this is just as good (maybe better) and you get much more in the pot than with mark.
I often wear it alone as part of my "Satuday" makeup - gives my eyes a smooth finish without having to wear eyeshadow. Good stuff!"

"This is as said, lighter than whipped creme coverage that makes all my dark eye color above my eye just disappear. with ease, You will need a brush as it is in a little pot but... you only need a tiny amount. I just apply and have a perfect canvas and really sometimes like it so much I don;t need shadow at all. It does create a seamless look with foundation and makes my eyes look great. It also blends in without showing lines. It beats out those more expensive primers by a long shot. I love it."

"I was unfortunately blessed with very oily skin. My eyelids are extremely oily and never hold any makeup, not even when im just putting foundation on them.
When I first got this and started using it, it worked GREAT! so it does work, but unfortunately with my oily skin, I also got very sensitive skin. After a week or two of using this, my eyelids got almost eczema like dryness. I stopped using the product and now my skin is back to normal.
So, if you don't have my skin, then this is amazing primer. I never wear eyeshadow, but I hate having oily eyelids, just be careful with your skin sensitivity."
