"nothing like it was a few years ago. use to buy it and it would be kinda a ruby red and felt like a 90 dollar lip stick you applyed know it feels kinda cheap."

Glossy rose is the pinkiest pink color...maybe okay for a young teen.

"I was looking for a lip balm that had a tint of color. The Slick Tint for Lips had more color than I wanted. The colors are great but the sticks are more like regular lipstick than a tint."

"I just recived my slick tint in glossy rose and its TERRIBLE!!! it has these beads in it that leave you lips looking ughhhhh!!!! the pigment is very intense which is awsome. but im shocked at the reviews here... c'mon ppl give honest reviews so it can help others choose teh right product. Don't get me wrong i love Avon and have been shopping with them from years. Other chapsticks are awsome! However, this chapstick is TERRIBLE!!"

"You get what you paid for. It was definitely cheaper than buying real lipstick and does provide color.
I was expecting it to be a moisturizing lip balm because it comes in the same type of tube but it does not.
It does provide some easy color but it tends to look too dark for me and it is not very soft. The Moisture Therapy Lip Balm feels so much better and add a sweep of ULTRA COLOR RICH Brilliance Lipstick - you get a much prettier look."

"I really love the color of this Slick Tint (glossy opal). It's a nice hint for your lips... however, I noticed that it gets clumpy quickly. I thought maybe it was just the one I had gotten a couple of years ago.... so when I saw these on sale, I figured I'd try again. But it also gets little clumpy pieces on your lips - which looks ridiculous. Perhaps some clear gloss would help solve the problem(?)."

"I have used AVON for about 8 years now. When I was younger I loved the Slick Tint in Glossy Rose. Now a days I love the product even more in the shade Glossy Wine! For those of you that have never tried this product I would describe it as a tinted lip balm. They are perfect for those of us who would like a more defined lip without the fuss of a lipstick. Its a product well worth its price and I suggest you give it a try."

"The color is great, lips look softly enhanced. Color is a little deeper/stronger than I thought it would be, but I like it. The taste/scent is not good at all, feels/smells unnatural (somewhat chemical). I don't think I'll purchase this again, just because of the smell, but I do like it for the color."

"You know, I've seen this product for years in Avon brochures and just never tried it. But finally I did and what a wonderful little surprise! Colors were wonderful (I chose 3) with nice pigmentation so you could actually see the color...went on smoothly and light as a whisper! No stickiness and had staying power! I only wish I'd have tried this little marvel sooner!!! Thanks Avon!"
