Scent Is Overpowering

"I just purchased this product and was very excited to use because my hair has been limp and lifeless lately. I have heavy hair and have yet to find a great product, and this didn't do the trick either. When I sprayed it on, it gave me lift at first, but within 15 minutes my hair was flat on top again.
It also smells very strongly and very masculine. It was overpowering to the point it gave me a headache and I didn't want to be around myself. I went out with my family and my mother said it smelled like "cheap cologne" so I don't understand the reviews calling the smell wonderful. Did I just get a bad batch? I washed it out as soon as I got home to get rid of the scent. I won't be using it again."

"Great product, definitely does the job: my hair had great body and shape w/o feeling heavy whatsoever, the volume really lasted, the smell is great too. Definitely a keeper."

"This product is fantastic! I love it! It gives my hair major body and volume.....it makes my hair look and smell great! I am hooked! I tend to wash my hair every other to every 2 days and this product lasts and lasts. I definitely recommend this product!"

"I also have very fine hair and have tried lots of root lifters. This one is okay. It does lift my hair and give it some volume but i find that my hair is kind of stiff feeling afterwards and it does not last super long. Also it does have a very strong colonge type smell. But overall its not the worst thing ever."
